中外教师合作教学+融贯中西的双语课程

研究表明,用双语学习的学生具备更强的分析和逻辑能力,并且对其他文化有更深层次的理解。诺德安达的双语教学不仅仅在于培养学生的中英文语言能力,深圳诺德安达学校独特的双语课程,以中国国家课程为核心,通过中外籍教师合作备课、合作教学的模式,将语言直接融入到学科教学中。老师们在整个教学过程中进行充分地交流与准备,并通过每一个教学环节的合作教学,结合学生反馈,及时调整教学方案,在教授学科知识的同时,开发孩子大脑,培养孩子的独立思考和分析能力。

同时,我们的主题式教学方法能够把中国国家课程与世界先进的教育理念相结合。通过整合同一主题的课程,让学生懂得如何全面地把这些思想运用到学习之中,学生们不仅知其然,还知其所以然。

The Co-teaching model: NAE bilingual curriculum

Research shows students who learn in two languages are able to develop stronger analytical and thinking skills, as well as greater awareness and understanding of other cultures. Nord Anglia’s bilingual curriculum not only cultivates students' English and Chinese language skills, but provides students with a well-rounded educational experience. Our unique bilingual curriculum at Nord Anglia School Shenzhen uses the Chinese National Curriculum at its core. This is supplemented by an international pedagogical approach which requires both our national and international teachers to work closely as a team to identify the links across their specialist subjects. Teachers share and collaborate throughout the whole process of curriculum delivery and development.

Our thematic approach to the curriculum enables us to make links between the learning outcomes of the Chinese National Curriculum and world-class pedagogy. By integrating a consistent theme for all of the lessons, students are able to see how ideas can be applied holistically to their learning.

Our bilingual curriculum ensures that our students retain their Chinese language skills and culture.
